Daniel Gonska

ESS founder, Daniel Gonska, spent 20 years in the Navy, with 18 years as a SEAL and 10 as a member of the Naval Special Warfare Development Group.

Dan's SPECIALITIES:

  • Breaching Targets: hardened military sites, commercial/industrial/residential buildings, vehicles/marine craft.
  • Breaching Techniques: electronic/technical security system bypass/defeat, and the more overt entry methods utilizing manual tools, shotguns, explosives, and stand-off weapons.
  • Range Safety Officer for rockets, live-fire dynamic vehicle and dismounted movements, and explosive breaching on vessels/land
  • Free-Fall Jumpmaster for combat parachute operations
  • Extensive training and employment in carbine, pistol, shotgun, rocket launchers and crew-served weapons

Dan's Operational Experience

  • Personal security of government personnel outside the United States
  • Over 15 years of Urban Warfare training and experience
  • Combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and other locations combatting terrorism and ensuring the safety of Americans
  • Multiple years stationed abroad working with allied and partner Special Operations Forces
